BUILDING QUALIFICATION AND CERTIFICATION

The purpose of energy certification is to encourage building energy efficiency. To that aim, the European directive 2002/91/CE was created, which requires that every building, whether for sale or rent, be accompanied by an energy efficiency certificate. The certification is intended to be an objective and quantitative evaluation of the building’s energy usage, provided in an understandable way to the user.
