CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS FOR ENERGY

Negotiating the contract for energy supply is the first strategy we recommend to a client because its implementation involves no investment and saves money from the beginning.

The amount reduction in the electricity bill is based on:

Fixed term: This is what we mean when we say contracted power. Although the government regulates this cost, marketers can add an economic margin, and there may be significant differences among marketers.

Variable term: it is the price paid for the energy consumed. There are usually huge differences among the electricity marketers, even more than 20% between one and the other.

On the other hand, there are two contracting modalities:

Fixed price: this means that the price paid per kilowatt/hour (kWh) throughout the term of the contract (usually 12 months) is always the same regardless of daily price fluctuations of energy in the market.

Variable price (indexed): the price of energy will be different from month to month based on upward or downward variations in the market price of energy.
